Our team

Tony Golding-Cook is a GP in Plymouth. He is a founder member and former Chairman of PLIMS, and has been an active BASICS doctor since 1991. He regularly works as a crowd doctor at local sporting venues and other major events. He is a member of the Faculty of Prehospital Care and an instructor on many prehospital courses.

Marc Epps is a GP in Southway. He has been an active prehospital doctor since 1999. He is a longstanding doctor at various equestrian venues / events and also for local sporting events. He is an instructor on the prehospital advanced trauma life support course.

Ian Morris is a GP in Totnes. He has been an active BASICS doctor since 1998. He regularly works as a crowd doctor at local sporting venues and other major events.

Ian Higginson is a consultant in Emergency Medicine at Derriford Hospital. He trained as a GP before specialising in Emergency Medicine. He has been an active BASICS doctor since 2007. Along with his prehospital interest he has additional expertise in paediatric emergency care. He is an instructor on various life support courses.

Simon Horne is a consultant in Emergency Medicine at Derriford Hospital. He has been an active BASICS doctor since 2004. He is an instructor on various life support courses

Glenda Cooper is our treasurer. Glenda also provides regular resuscitation training and updates, along with technical support and advice around resuscitation equipment. She is an instructor on various life support courses.
